Parliament Monsoon Session 2023: Country’s Parliament The fourth day of the monsoon session on Tuesday (June 25) seems to be witnessing an uproar. There was a heated exchange between the government and the opposition in the Rajya Sabha today over the discussion on the issue of ongoing violence in Manipur.
The matter escalated to such an extent that Union Minister Piyush Goyal even told Leader of Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge that you do not have heart, you are doing politics even on such a sensitive issue.

He said that why does PM Modi not speak in the House? Kharge said that if the government is ready for discussion then what is the problem in discussing 267. He said if you talk about East India Company then what is the problem in talking about Manipur.

Piyush Goyal said that this is a sensitive topic and there is a need to discuss this topic. He said, perhaps the leader of the opposition does not have sensitivity, perhaps he does not have the heart because he is doing politics even in the matter of daughters. He said that if you had the heart, the discussion on this topic would have been going on in the House by now.
