MP Election 2023: Assembly elections are to be held in Madhya Pradesh at the end of this year. On Tuesday (July 11) night, Union Home Minister Amit Shah held a meeting with ten senior BJP leaders. During this, along with Shah, newly appointed election in-charge of Madhya Pradesh BJP Bhupendra Yadav and co-in-charge Ashwin Vaishnav were also present.
It was being speculated that like Gujarat, there could be reshuffle in Madhya Pradesh as well. There were speculations in political circles that if not the government, there could be a reshuffle in the organization itself, but it did not happen.
What complaint did Amit Shah make? Also warned all the leaders.
He complained that why are you all not sure about the victory? Why worry about small incidents. Now create the confidence of victory and get united.
Amit Shah also took the names of CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan, President VD Sharma, Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, BJP leader Kailash Vijayvargiya and Union Minister Narendra Tomar and asked them to take up minor responsibilities.
What has become clear from the meeting?
It has become clear from the meeting that there is no change in the ruling organization at present. Amit Shah’s Delhi team has taken over the entire command of the election. The election in-charge will again be in Bhopal on coming Saturday-Sunday.
It is clear that this time no Jan Ashirwad Yatra will be held, Vijay Sankalp Abhiyan will be run instead. After Shah’s arrival in Bhopal, the topic of the entire election discussion has shifted from Congress and BJP to PM Modi and Amit Shah. This was probably Amit Shah’s motive as well.
After this meeting, a BJP leader said that now Madhya Pradesh has turned into a union territory. Now all the decisions will be taken by the people sitting in the center. This is not a good thing for 18 year old government and 16 year old chief minister.
