Mamata Banerjee On BJP: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has strongly attacked the Centre. He alleged on Saturday (May 27) that the BJP was trying to create a Manipur-like situation in the state by plotting caste riots. BJP accused of attack
The CM said that the car of Minister Birbaha Hansda was attacked by the Kurmi community yesterday. I believe BJP did this in the name of Kurmi community, raised slogans and attacked Birbaha Hansda’s car. The Kurmi community never does this. The BJP is trying to instigate similar riots between communities in West Bengal. They want to create a situation in which the tribals fight with the Kurmis, so that the army can be called in and the army has a shoot-at-sight order.

Stones were allegedly pelted at the convoy of senior Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Abhishek Banerjee in the tribal-dominated district and the minister’s vehicle was also involved in the convoy, which was damaged.
