Nephew Ajit’s rebellion gave tension to NCP, now uncle Sharad Pawar called a meeting on July 5 -aabtak24


NCP Political Crisis: NCP Chief Sharad Pawar has called a meeting in Mumbai on July 5 after 9 NCP leaders including Ajit Pawar joined the Eknath Shinde government. The events of Sunday (July 2) and future course of action will be discussed in detail in this meeting. 

State unit head Jayant Patil has given information about this meeting. Talking to reporters, Patil said that the meeting will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday at the YB Chavan Center in South Mumbai. NCP as a party Eknath Shinde-BJP does not support the government."

Patil’s claim about MLAs 

Said to go against ideals

He said that 9 leaders of NCP have taken the oath of office by going against the ideals of the party. At present, nine MLAs of our party have become ministers. Others had gone to see the swearing-in. At the same time, sources submitted a letter to Raj Bhavan claiming that Ajit Pawar has the support of more than 40 MLAs and more than 6 MLCs of his party. 

Some MLAs contacted us

Jayant Patil said that we are not yet aware of the papers signed by the MLAs who were called. Some MLAs said that they were misled. Despite the majority, there was a split in the ruling party NCP. Jayant Patil also claimed that some MLAs accompanying Ajit Pawar had approached us.
