Kailasahar June 17: At least 35 shops were totally gutted in a devastating fire at Babur Bazar, one of the largest markets in Kailasahar in Unakoti district of Tripura on Friday night.
According to reports, fire broke out suddenly in Babur Bazar Haji Akbar Ali shed. Around 35 shops in the area were burnt into ashes.
A report was sent to the Kailasahar Fire Brigade when firefighters rushed to the scene and got control of the fire.
The damage has been assessed to be about Rs 2 crores and investigation is under process that can reveal the reason behind fire.
