Lok Sabha Election 2024: All political parties have already geared up for the next year’s Lok Sabha elections in the country. According to the Election Commission of India, assembly elections are to be held in four states by the end of this year before the upcoming general elections. In many ways, this election will prepare a background for the next year.

Tell us that the four states where assembly elections are to be held by the end of this year include Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana and Chhattisgarh. Also, there are a total of 82 Lok Sabha seats in all these states, where interesting competition can be seen with tough competition. Next we will learn about all the states one by one.

Know the electoral state
Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana and Chhattisgarh Elections are to be held in the year 2023. If we look at the total 83 Lok Sabha seats in all these states, the ruling BJP at the Center has occupied 65 seats, which is 79 percent of the total seats. Looking at the vote percentage in the last Lok Sabha elections held in all the four states, the BJP-led NDA has got a share of more than 45 per cent.

BJP’s good hold in Rajasthan
Assembly elections are to be held in Rajasthan at the end of this year, for which the state’s ruling Congress and the main opposition BJP have entered the fray. There are also a total of 25 Lok Sabha seats in Rajasthan, on which all eyes will be on. However, out of the total Lok Sabha seats in Rajasthan, BJP alone has 24 seats.

Despite the Congress government in Rajasthan, there is indecisiveness about the power here. The unending tussle between the two big leaders in the state Congress will be a challenge. The BJP will try to capitalize on the infighting in the Congress in its own interest.

Madhya Pradesh has 29 Lok Sabha seats
Madhya Pradesh has been seen standing with BJP for the last two decades, where the party has been continuously benefiting under the leadership of CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan. BJP has got 28 seats out of total 29 Lok Sabha seats in Madhya Pradesh, while the party has about 60 percent votes from the public. The anti-incumbency air will also challenge the BJP for staying in the government for so many days.

BJP will keep an eye on Telangana
There are a total of 17 Lok Sabha seats in Telangana, for which fierce competition can be seen next year. At present, there are only 4 seats in the BJP’s court from here, which the party would be trying to increase at any cost. The ruling BRS party of Telangana will be a big challenge for the BJP from here. Keeping this in mind, the BJP will focus more on a few selected seats in North Telangana and around Hyderabad.

The focus will be on tribal seats in Chhattisgarh
BJP was able to win 9 out of the total 11 Lok Sabha seats in Chhattisgarh in the 2019 elections. However, BJP will have to come up with a new plan against the Bhupesh Baghel-led Congress government in the state. Along with this, BJP will focus more on seats in tribal-dominated areas of Chhattisgarh.
