West Bengal Teachers Recruitment Scam: Sujay Krishna Bhadra, an aide of Trinamool Congress MP Abhishek Banerjee, has been arrested in the Bengal teachers recruitment scam case. He was interrogated for more than 12 hours before his arrest. The investigating agency (ED) said that accused Sujay Krishna was not cooperating in the interrogation.
Sujay Krishna Bhadra is also known as ‘Kaku of Kalighat’. The ED had called him for questioning in connection with the recruitment scam. He appeared at the ED office in Kolkata at 11 am on Tuesday (May 30). Bhadra works as the Chief Cooperative Officer (COO) in a private firm. ED sources say that frustrated with Bhadra’s behaviour, the investigating officer had written an email to the ED headquarters in Delhi, seeking permission to arrest him.
