Delhi Excise Case: The next hearing regarding Manish Sisodia, who was arrested in the liquor scam case, will be held on July 25. He was presented in the court in this matter, after which the next date of hearing was fixed. The Rouse Avenue Court will next hear Sisodia in the ED case on August 25. During this, some instructions have also been given to the police by the court. A few days back, in the case of manhandling during Manish Sisodia’s appearance, the court directed the police to give the CCTV footage in a pen drive to Sisodia.
The video of the misbehavior came to the fore
Before the hearing, the court said that the digital copy of the charge sheet should be provided to other accused including Sisodia through hard disk. During the interrogation of Manish Sisodia in the court premises, the matter of misbehavior came to the fore. In which a policeman was seen holding his neck. Its video also went viral on social media. This matter was also discussed in the court.
Sisodia is in jail for a long time
First CBI and then ED had registered a case against Manish Sisodia in connection with the new excise policy implemented in Delhi. After this he was arrested. For the last several months, the former Deputy CM of Delhi is in jail. During this, his bail plea has been rejected several times. Now the hearing on his bail plea is going on in the Supreme Court. Supreme Court has sent notice to CBI and ED regarding this matter. After which the next hearing will be held on July 28.
