Uddhav Thackeray on Devendra Fadnavis: The ongoing political tussle in Maharashtra is not taking the name of stopping. After the rebellion of NCP, the war of words between the leaders of the coalition government of Maharashtra and the opposition parties is going on. Now there has been an uproar over former state CM and Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray’s remarks about Deputy Chief Minister and BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis.

What did Uddhav Thackeray say?

Former CM said that now they are saying, Uddhav Thackeray stabbed us. Who first backstabbed Uddhav Thackeray? He was in power from 2014 to 2019. Shiv Sena did not break the alliance in 2014. I did not join the Congress then. That is what I was and that is what I am.

Nitin Gadkari condemned

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has condemned this comment of Uddhav Thackeray. He tweeted that Uddhav Thackeray can discuss the development work done by the BJP when they (MVA) were in power, but making personal allegations at such a low level does not suit the political culture of Maharashtra.

Uddhav Thackeray’s posters torn

After this statement made about Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha workers in Nagpur have also torn posters of Uddhav Thackeray in protest. Uddhav Thackeray’s face has also been blackened on some posters.
