BJP On Bengal Panchayat Election Violence: Voting for Panchayat elections 2023 was held in West Bengal on Saturday (July 8). During this, reports of violence came out from many districts. A total of 13 deaths, dozens of injuries and several polling stations were attacked in the violence on the day of polling. Now TMC and BJP are accusing each other of violence regarding this. 

The BJP in West Bengal on Sunday (July 9) alleged that central forces were ‘deliberately’ not deployed during the panchayat polls. To this the TMC retaliated sharply saying that there was no guarantee that violence would not have taken place if the forces had been deployed.
