1. Finance, Corporate Affairs Minister Nirmala Sitharaman may contest from Tamil Nadu.

2. External Affairs Minister Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar can match Tamil Nadu.

3. Union Minister for Commerce & Industry, Consumer, Textiles Piyush Goyal may contest from Maharashtra.

4. Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Minister Dharmendra Pradhan is likely to contest from Orissa in the election season.

5. Narayan Rane – Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises; Maharashtra 

6. Sarbananda Sonowal – AYUSH, Ports, Shipping and Waterways; Assam

7. Jyotiraditya Scindia – Civil Aviation, Steel; mp3

8. Ashwini Vaishnav – Railways, Communications, Electronics & Information Technology; Orissa

9. Hardeep Singh Puri – Petroleum, Housing and Urban Affairs; Punjab or Jammu and Kashmir

10. Mansukh Mandaviya – Health and Family Welfare, Chemicals; Gujarat

11. Bhupendra Yadav – Environment and Labour; Haryana or Rajasthan

12. Parshottam Rupala – Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying; Gujarat
