Article 370 Hearing: The petitions filed against the removal of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir will now be heard in the Supreme Court in August. While hearing about this matter, the Supreme Court said that it will start hearing on this matter from August 2. CJI Chandrachud has instructed all the parties to make a list of all the issues by 25 July. Earlier, an affidavit was presented in the Supreme Court on behalf of the Central Government. Regarding which the leaders of Jammu and Kashmir raised questions. 

Petitions against the abolition of special status
During the hearing in the Supreme Court, the Solicitor General said that earlier an order had been issued to make a list of issues. After this, the CJI said that all the parties should do this by 25 July. After this process is completed, the hearing of this case will be started from 2 August. The Supreme Court also said that before the start of the hearing, it should also be told as to who will cross-examine which side. 

Let us tell you that in 2019, the central government had abolished the special status of Jammu and Kashmir. After which it was fiercely opposed and several petitions were filed in the Supreme Court. More than 20 petitions related to this are pending, which will be heard simultaneously by a 5-judge bench headed by Chief Justice Chandrachud.
