Yamuna’s water level rises once again in Delhi

It is being told that water is being released from Hathinikund barrage with a capacity of more than 2 lakh cusecs. Yamuna is flowing above the danger mark in Delhi. Late on Sunday night, the water level of Yamuna went above the danger mark to 206.44 metres. After which 60 teams have been alerted for the security of the administration.

Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh received less rain on Sunday as compared to the last two days, but despite this, the situation of landslides in both the states remained the same. Around 700 roads in Himachal Pradesh are blocked after the rains. 

The weather will be like this in UP 
According to IMD, there is a possibility of rain and thundershowers at some places in Uttar Pradesh during the next 24 hours. Monsoon is expected to gain strength once again in the state from July 25 and there is a possibility of rain at many places in the state on July 25-26. Hundreds of villages in 13 districts of Uttar Pradesh are affected by the flood and many rivers including Ganga Yamuna and Sharda are in spate. 

Chance of heavy rains in Maharashtra 
According to the India Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rains in many districts of Maharashtra, while cloudy weather is expected in other parts. Since July 13, 11 people have died in floods and lightning incidents in Nagpur division. Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Sunday said that the state government is fully prepared to deal with the problems caused by heavy rains. 

There will be heavy rains in these districts of Gujarat 
There is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rains at some places in Gujarat. Devbhoomi Dwarka, Rajkot, Bhavnagar and Valsad districts may receive extremely torrential rains in the next 24 hours. After the flood waters receded in Junagadh on Sunday, the focus is now on bringing life back on track. Officials said that around 3,000 people in the district have been shifted to safer places. The India Meteorological Department issued an ‘Orange’ warning for Gujarat on Sunday. issued an alert and said that there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rains in the state on July 24.
