Opposition Parties Meeting In Bengaluru: With the announcement of the name of the alliance for the 2024 elections in the meeting of opposition parties in Bengaluru, the claim on PM candidature has started. The name of party chief Mamta Banerjee is being put forward from TMC side. TMC MP Shatabdi Rai said Congress is not in race for PM face, so we would like Mamata Banerjee’s name.
According to ANI report, when TMC MP Shatabdi Roy was asked that there are media reports that Congress is not in the race for the Prime Minister’s candidature, he said, “Then we would like Mamata Banerjee’s name (in the candidature)”. Yes.
INDIA will be the new opposition alliance
On July 18, 26 anti-BJP political parties gathered on one platform in Bengaluru, the capital of Karnataka, and a new front was announced for the grand contest of 2024. Opposition parties announced the name of a new alliance to contest the elections against the NDA, which has been named the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA).
