Gujarat Congress Leaders: Before the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the Congress party wants to revive its unit in Gujarat. The party has started discussions for the appointment of new state president and new in-charge of Congress in the state. According to news agency PTI, top leaders of Gujarat Congress have reached Delhi to meet the central leadership.

Top leaders of Gujarat Congress were called to Delhi. These include Porbandar MLAs Arjun Modhwadia, Amit Chavda, Shailesh Parmar, Siddharth Patel and Deepak Babaria, who was recently sent as an observer for the election of the leader of the legislature party in Karnataka.
According to party sources, Deepak Babaria and former Leader of Opposition Paresh Dhanani are being considered as the main contenders for the post of State President. The party may first appoint the state in-charge and later the state president.
2022 Gujarat Assembly Election Result
tell that in 2022 Gujarat Assembly elections, the BJP retained power with a record 156 seats in the 182-member assembly. Congress had won only 17 seats in the elections. Whereas, the Aam Aadmi Party won five seats.
