Brij Bhushan Singh Chargesheet: The charge sheet filed against BJP MP and former Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh has revealed shocking revelations. The female wrestler claimed that Singh agreed to bear the medical expenses for treatment of a wrestling-related injury but made it a condition to engage in sexual acts. However, the wrestler refused to accept the condition. Another complainant, identified in the chargesheet as ‘Pahlwan No. 6’, accused Singh of offering her sexual relations in exchange for protein supplements.
Allegation of sexual abuse in various ways
Brijbhushan Sharan Singh had asked to meet the women wrestlers alone at his official residence, where the WFI office was located, during the investigation at the NPL Kingsway Camp on May 6, 2023, but they strictly refused.

The complainants said that no inappropriate behavior took place during the national training camps as the entire area was under extensive surveillance with CCTV cameras. In his testimony, he also raised concerns about the impartiality of the investigation conducted by the government-appointed six-member inspection committee headed by Olympic medalist MC Mary Kom. According to the wrestlers, the committee members dismissed the complaints against Singh, accusing the complainants of misunderstanding Singh’s innocent gestures and his intentions behind the behavior.
