Agartala, July 04: The Tripura Board of Secondary Examination (TBSE), which announced the board results for Classes 10 and 12 previous month on Tuesday announced that it would conduct the ‘Bochor Bachao’ re-examination by the August-end or in the first week of September this year.
Announcing this in a press conference here in the board office, the TBSE chairman Dr. Bhabatosh Saha said that the re-examinations under the state government’s ‘Bochor Bachao’ scheme are for the students who failed their board exams. The candidates can fill up the forms for the re-examination till July 10, he added.
He said that the students who have scored at least 150 marks out of the five subjects in the higher secondary examination but have failed to secure pass marks in a maximum of three subjects are allowed to appear in a re-examination to save a year for academically weak students to pursue higher education.
On a different note the board chairman informed that presently the TBSE is working on finalizing the syllabus for Class 11, while the syllabus for class 9, 10 and 12 is already uploaded in the board website. He said that the TBSE sought help of over a hundred school teachers and college faculty members in framing the syllabus.
