Delhi Crime Rate: While increasing criminal incidents in the capital Delhi have increased the concern of Delhiites on one hand, on the other hand there is an atmosphere of fear among the businessmen of Delhi. On this issue, the Chamber of Trade and Industry (CTI) has written a letter to Delhi LG Vinay Kumar Saxena seeking an appointment on the issue of law and order in Delhi. 

Due to some recent incidents in Delhi, concern has increased in view of security among traders. Chandni Chowk’s business firm was looted on Chalte Road near Pragati Maidan on Saturday and a few days ago a jewelery trader was looted in Prasad Nagar. 

‘LG Vinay Saxena take cognizance of this issue’
In view of all these incidents, traders want that LG Vinay Saxena taking cognizance of this issue, a join meeting of traders with Delhi Police Call to highlight all these issues and ensure safety. 

Incidents of loot and theft have increased
CTI Chairman Brijesh Goyal said, "The law and order situation in Delhi has completely broken down and incidents of looting are increasing day by day. Especially in areas like Kamla Market, Chawri Bazar, Chandni Chowk, Kashmiri Gate, Sadar Bazar. The incidents of looting and theft have increased in the past days around the big markets of Old Delhi." 

‘He keeps drinking alcohol openly’
Brijesh Goyal further said, "Illegal and mafia-like people have encroached and encroached around the metro station adjacent to the markets and drink alcohol openly there, due to which traders and women are afraid to leave there especially at night."
