Lawrece Bishnoi Gang Extortion: A businessman living in Malad area of Mumbai has given a complaint to the police that Lawrence Bishnoi gang is extorting money from him. The businessman has told that he received a threatening call last day in which Rs 20 lakh was demanded from him. Sources said that the complainant businessman received a call from a private number in the evening of July 20 and the caller introduced himself as a member of the Bishnoi gang.
The caller then demanded Rs 20 lakh from the businessman and said that his gang members are in jail and he needs money to get them released. Police sources said that on the basis of the businessman’s complaint, investigation has been started by registering a case against the unknown person under section 385 of the IPC.
