Tamil Nadu CSK Win Row: Controversy has arisen in Tamil Nadu after the IPL-2023 victory of Chennai Super Kings. On Wednesday (May 31), Tamil Nadu BJP chief K Annamalai responded to the tweet of state minister TRB Raja. They said, "Everyone likes the team of Chennai Super Kings. Even though there is no Tamil Nadu player in the team, there are three Tamil players in the Gujarat Titans team."
Annamalai further said, "A Tamil player in the Gujarat Titans team scored 96 runs in the final match against Chennai Super Kings. How can it be said that Dravidian model won in IPL." Earlier Annamalai had said, "BJP worker Ravindra Jadeja has given victory to CSK. Jadeja’s wife Rivaba is a BJP MLA and she is a Gujarati."

Tamil Nadu minister TRB Raja tweeted on Tuesday after CSK’s win and Annamalai’s statement, "Still searching for words to describe CSK’s historic win. Every player along with Thala Dhoni contributed to this big win."

King further wrote, "Like millions of CSK fans all over the world, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin is also very happy. All sports lovers believed that under the captaincy of a true leader, a team can win over any opponent, no matter how strong the front team is shown. We have defeated many Gujaratis in the past and we will continue to do so in the future. Chennai has shown the world how to play as a team."
