Cyclone Biparjoy Update: Cyclone Biparjoy is moving from the Arabian Sea towards the west coast of India. It is expected to hit Gujarat on Thursday (June 15), for which agencies are on alert. Meanwhile, big information about the storm has come to the fore. Mrityunjay Mohapatra, director general of the Indian Meteorological Department, has told that Biparjoy storm has slowed down in the last six hours.

IMD Te Director General told the press conference that Biparjoy storm is currently 280 km away from Jakhau Port in North East Arabian Sea. The speed of the storm has slowed down in the last 6 hours and it is almost stable. There hasn’t been much movement in this one since the last three.

Biparjoy will reach Saurashtra on Thursday

The effect of the storm will be maximum on Thursday. The next day, on the morning of 16th, its speed will fall to 85 km.  The storm will enter Rajasthan on 17th but till then its speed will reduce significantly.
