Out of total 11 Lok Sabha seats in the state, BJP alone won 9 seats, while Congress got only one seat. Here also in the Lok Sabha elections, BJP got 50.70 percent votes, while Congress got 40 percent votes. Both BJP and Congress had gained 2 per cent vote bank, but in terms of seats, BJP won.
