Textbook Lessons On KB Hedgewar: The Karnataka government has removed the lesson related to Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh (RSS) founder Keshav Baliram Hedgewar from the school textbook. This information was given by Karnataka Education Minister Madhu Bangarappa during a media interaction on Thursday (June 15).

BJP has also reacted to the removal of KB Hedgewar’s lesson from the book. BJP leader and former education minister of Karnataka BC Nagesh has retaliated by saying that Siddaramaiah’s government is against Hindus.

Talking to news agency ANI, former education minister of Karnataka BC Nagesh said, “They (Congress) want the votes of Muslims. Basically Siddaramaiah’s government is against Hindus. You should always know. It is not for Hindus. Certainly they are going against whatever we have done to save our culture.”

Karnataka Education Minister Madhu Bangarappa said during a media interaction, “The syllabus on KB Hedgewar has been removed… Whatever changes they (the previous government) made last year, we have changed them and from the last Everything that was there last year has been restarted.”
