Agartala June 05: Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) on Monday declared the Madhyamik and Higher Secondary results for the academic year 2022-23.
The pass percentage of Madhyamik is 86.02% and for Higher secondary it is 83.02% this year.
Notably, previous year the pass rate for Madhyamik examination was 84 percent and for higher secondary examination was 94 percent.
Briefing the details in a press conference at the TBSE office, Agartala, president Dr Bhabatosh Saha said, “Out of all the districts in Tripura, for Madhyamik examinations, Gomati district has performed the best with 92.30% while North Tripura district has the lowest pass percentage of 77.80%”.
“For higher secondary examinations, the highest pass percentage has been secured by Sepahijala district while the lowest pass percentage is recorded in Dhalai district”, he said.
This year there were 11,238 secondary examinees in ADC area schools out of which 113 of them did not sit for the exam. 1583 failed and 9,582 passed. The pass rate is 84.9%, of which 24 got A1 and 125 got A2.
This year there were 7,872 higher secondary examinees in ADC area schools. Among them 7,623 failed in Arts, 207 in Science and 89 in Commerce. The pass rate is 77.27 percent, among them, 6 got A1 and 52 got A2.
West Tripura district has the highest number of candidates enrolled in secondary at the district level with 8,253. Khowai district has the lowest number of candidates at 3,324.
West Tripura district has the highest number of candidates enrolled in higher secondary with the number of candidates being 2,871.
TBSE Madhyamik examination was conducted from March 16 – April 18 and Higher Secondary exams were held from March 15- April 19 for the academic year 2022-23.
A total of 38,116 candidates sat for Secondary examination while a total of 33,435 candidates appeared for Higher Secondary examination.
TBSE authorities informed that the students can check their results online. The results will be available at the TBSE official website tbse.tripurs.gov.in.
