RSS On BJP: After the BJP’s defeat in the Karnataka assembly elections, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has given advice to the party regarding the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. In Sangh’s mouthpiece Organiser, BJP was told that it needs introspection. It is not easy for the party to win elections without a strong base and regional leadership.
RSS mouthpiece Organizer has written that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s charisma and Hindutva ideas are not enough to win elections. It further states that ideology and central leadership can be positive aspects of BJP.

The Organizer has written that the BJP leadership tried to bring national issues in the elections, but the Congress did not give up on local issues. This is the biggest reason for the victory of Congress. It has further been said that in the Karnataka elections, there was an attempt to garner votes through caste issues, but this state is a hub of technology. In such a situation it is a matter of concern.
What was the Karnataka result?
Karnataka assembly elections, the Congress had won a big victory. Congress got 135 seats out of 224, while BJP was reduced to 66 and JDS 19. After this Congress has handed over the command of the state to Siddaramaiah. Let us tell you that in the elections, the Congress alleged that the BJP government is 40 percent commission. Countering this, BJP said that they have not done any work.
