Delhi-NCR Rain: After the rains in Delhi-NCR and Mumbai, the weather is pleasant at this time, but it is being considered as pre-monsoon and not monsoon. It is raining in Delhi since Saturday night. According to the Meteorological Department, this process of rain is going to continue in Delhi and Mumbai in the coming few days, due to which there will be a drop in the temperature. Experts say that a set pattern cannot be expected every year as the situation is different every year. Cyclonic storm Biparjoy has affected the pace of monsoon this year. 

The pace of rain this year remains unusual

The southwest monsoon usually covers Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Maharashtra first. Due to which it rains first in the south and then moves ahead from the south-west coast. After this it starts raining all over the country. In many states of the country, the rate of rainfall during the year remains abnormal. Conditions are now favorable for further advance of monsoon into Mumbai, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh including Maharashtra, Bihar, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu, Kashmir and some more parts of Haryana including Ladakh, Chandigarh and Delhi. Rain is also expected in parts of Gujarat, East Rajasthan and Punjab in the next 48 hours. 

Meteorological department issued yellow alert

According to the Meteorological Department, this process of rain is going to continue till June 30. On the other hand, talking about the previous day, the maximum temperature in Delhi was recorded at 37.2 degree Celsius on Saturday while the minimum temperature was recorded at 30.4 degree. At the same time, the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for rain in North West India for the next six days. These days the temperature is expected to increase and decrease.
