Manipur Violence: Manipur is not taking the name of stopping the ruckus regarding the incident of vandalism with women during the violence. There is a lot of uproar in the monsoon session of the Parliament regarding this matter, the opposition leaders are continuously besieging the government regarding this. Meanwhile, Aam Aadmi Party’s Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha has also targeted PM Modi regarding the incident in Manipur. Raghav Chadha said that the incident in Manipur has shaken his heart. PM Modi should talk about Manipur instead of Mann Ki Baat. 

Raghav Chadha demands President’s Rule
Aam Aadmi Party leader said that the government should debate this matter in Parliament. All the parliamentarians of the world are serious about the discussion on Manipur. Why is this not being discussed in the Parliament of India? He further said that incidents of violence are also happening in Mizoram. It is the responsibility of the government to run the parliament. President’s rule should be imposed in Manipur. 

AAP MP Sanjay Singh suspended
Aam Aadmi’s MP Sanjay Singh was suspended by Speaker Jagdeep Dhankhar for the entire monsoon session for demanding a debate on the same issue. Regarding which the opposition alliance ‘Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance’ (India) constituents sat on a dharna in the Parliament complex and raised slogans.

Opposition leaders said that this dharna will continue throughout the night and will happen on Tuesday (July 25) as well. On the other hand, the Congress and the opposition alliance ‘India’ Other constituents have been demanding Prime Minister Narendra Modi to give a statement and discussion in Parliament on the issue of Manipur from the very first day of the monsoon session. The proceedings of both the Houses were repeatedly disrupted on the first three days of the monsoon session of Parliament due to uproar over the issue.
