Ajit Pawar MEETS NCP chief Sharad Pawar: Ajit Pawar met his uncle Sharad Pawar for the first time after the NCP split in Maharashtra. Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar arrived on Friday night to meet NCP chief Sharad Pawar at his Silver Oak residence. It would also be interesting to mention that the meeting between Sharad Pawar and Ajit Pawar took place just hours after the expansion of the cabinet.

Actually, the health of Sharad Pawar’s wife Pratibha Pawar is bad. He was admitted to a hospital in Mumbai where Pratibha Pawar underwent surgery on Friday after which she was discharged from the hospital. According to reports, the Deputy CM of Maharashtra had come to inquire about the health of his aunt. Ajit is said to have a good relationship with his aunt.

Chhagan Bhujbal also worried about Kaki

Earlier Chhagan Bhujbal of the Ajit camp had expressed concern about Pratibha Pawar. He said, I pray for her speedy recovery and would also urge the party workers to wish her well. NCP Pratibha Pawar, known as Kaki among the leaders, is present in the party as a maternal figure, although she has never been seen active in politics.

The picture of Ajit Pawar suddenly going to his uncle’s house may not be clear. But different meanings are being extracted in its political circles. Ajit Pawar left his uncle Sharad Pawar’s NCP party on July 2 and joined the Shinde faction along with 18 MLAs.

Ajit Pawar got the finance ministry

On Friday, portfolios of 9 ministers of NCP were divided.  In this cabinet expansion, NCP has got a total of 7 ministries – Finance, Planning, Co-operative, Agriculture Department, Food and Civil Supplies, Women and Child Development Department, Relief and Rehabilitation and Medical Education Ministry. Deputy CM Ajit Pawar himself  While Finance and Planning Department has been kept, Chhagan Bhujbal has been assigned Food and Civil Supplies Department. The Planning Department is considered a very important ministry in the politics of Maharashtra.
