Maharashtra NCP Political Crisis: The political storm in the politics of Maharashtra is getting deeper. A round of meetings continued on Thursday (July 6) regarding the rebellion in the NCP and there was commotion throughout the day. Uncle Sharad Pawar held a meeting of the party’s national executive in Delhi, while nephew Ajit Pawar raised questions on this meeting. Meanwhile, big claims were also made from both the factions of Shiv Sena. Know the big things related to this political development.
1. Sharad Pawar reached Delhi on Thursday morning and took the National Executive meeting of NCP. Thirteen leaders including PC Chacko, Jitendra Awhad, Fauzia Khan and Vandana Chavan were present in this meeting. Sharad Pawar was elected as the national president of the party in this meeting.
2. After this meeting, Sharad Pawar made it clear that he is the president of the party. He said that I am the president of NCP. If someone is claiming to be the president then there is no truth in it. I am happy that except those who were expelled, others came for the meeting in such a short time. Soon the status of the state will change. There NCP, Congress and Shiv Sena led by Uddhav Thackeray will be re-elected by the people of Maharashtra.
3. PC Chacko, who attended the meeting with Sharad Pawar, said that the NCP working committee has approved the decision to expel Praful Patel, Sunil Tatkare and nine others who joined hands with the NDA. . Sharad Pawar was elected the national president. We do not take anyone’s claim of being the national president seriously. Our organization is still united. NCP conducts elections every three years and people are regularly elected. All state units of the party are with Sharad Pawar.
4. NCP’s Ajit Pawar-led faction said that the party’s working committee meeting held by Sharad Pawar in Delhi has no legal validity. A statement from Ajit Pawar said that with the overwhelming support of the majority of the elected representatives of the NCP as well as members holding various organizational positions, Ajit Pawar has been elected as the National President of the NCP on June 30.  ;
5. Meanwhile, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said that being impressed by our development work, he (Ajit Pawar faction) has decided to join the party. The government is getting stronger day by day. Today our MLAs have crossed 200. We have huge support from the central government. The double engine government is working strongly, that’s why the opposition is having stomach ache. No one in my party is upset with Ajit Pawar joining the government.
6. Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi met Sharad Pawar in Delhi. During this meeting held at Sharad Pawar’s residence, Rahul Gandhi expressed solidarity with him. NCP (Sharad Pawar faction) leader Sonia Duhan said that Rahul Gandhi had come to meet Pawar Saheb and he has said that his full support is with Sharad Pawar. Congress and all opposition parties are standing with us.
7. Maharashtra BJP has called a meeting of MLA-MLC in Mumbai on Friday. All MLAs and MLCs are expected to attend the meeting. After the recent cabinet expansion in the meeting, the party’s strategy and other current issues can be discussed in the upcoming monsoon session of the assembly. Maharashtra BJP President Chandrashekhar Bawankule said that instead of criticizing BJP, Sharad Pawar should introspect and worry about the party and family.
8. On speculations about supporting the BJP-Shiv Sena government in Maharashtra, Ashok Chavan told news agency ANI that I was in the Congress Core Committee meeting today and I do not know who is spreading rumors about us. Maharashtra Congress Core Committee meeting has taken place. Congress state president Nana Patole, Balasaheb Thorat, Prithviraj Chavan and other senior leaders were present in the meeting. In fact, Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) MLA Sanjay Shirsat had claimed that many Maharashtra Congress MLAs wanted to leave the party and the Congress would also split.
9. Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) MP Vinayak Raut claimed that after Ajit Pawar joined the Maharashtra government, the chief minister Eknath Shinde are in touch with his party. After the rebel MLAs of NCP were made ministers, the MLAs of Shinde faction have started revolting. Shiv Sena (UBT) leader and Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Raut also claimed that many MLAs of the Shinde faction are in touch with us. Maharashtra is going to get a new CM soon.
10. Uday Samant, a minister in the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena government, denied Vinayak Raut’s claim that six of the 13 MLAs of the Uddhav Thackeray faction are in touch with him. Samant said that the situation has changed now. Some legislators of the Shinde faction have said that the Chief Minister is trying to address their concerns and there is no need to panic.
