Lok Sabha Election 2024: All the opposition parties held a mega meeting on Tuesday (July 18) to take on the NDA in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. A total of 26 parties participated in this meeting and named this alliance as ‘India’, in which West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee was also included. And now TMC MP Mahua Moitra has given a stern warning to the ruling BJP.

TMC MP tweeted that the Lok Sabha elections in 2024 are going to be NDA vs INDIA. He warned the BJP government and asked whether it "may hear the death knell.

Mahua Moitra tweeted that it was great to hear the honorable Prime Minister speaking about the opposition. Mahua surrounded the PM on the politics of dynasty and said that BJP promoted dynasty and fielded family candidates in all the three assembly by-elections in Adampur, Haryana, Munugode, Telangana and Gola Gokarnath, UP held last November. Mahua tweeted saying, 12% of all BJP MPs are dynastic.

In the second meeting of the opposition parties, 26 parties shared the dais together and named the alliance as INDIA, which together Lok Sabha elections. Several major opposition parties like Congress, TMC, DMK, AAP, RJD and Shiv Sena participated in this opposition meeting.

Along with this, the third meeting was also announced, regarding which Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge said that the next meeting will be held in Mumbai. At the end of the meeting, a joint declaration was also made by all the parties. In this joint statement, the opposition parties alleged that the fundamental pillars of the Constitution are being systematically and dangerously undermined. 

The joint declaration expressed serious concern over the violence in Manipur. Attacking the PM regarding the Manipur violence, he said that ‘the silence of the Prime Minister is shocking’. The joint declaration stated that ‘there is an urgent need to bring Manipur back on the path of peace and reconciliation.’
