Weather Today: Many parts including Delhi have been experiencing severe heat for the last two-three days. Although people are going to get relief from the scorching sun on Friday 9th June. According to IMD, light rain is expected on June 9, but there will be no drop in temperature due to this. Apart from this, the Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert due to rain in some states. There is an alert for rain in Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan on June 9.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain and strong winds at a speed of 30-40 kilometers per hour in the surrounding areas of Bhiwani, Charkhi Dadri, Farukhnagar, Kosli, Sohana, Rewari. There is a possibility of heavy rains in Churu, Sriganganagar, Alwar, Hanumangarh of Rajasthan. Because of which the department has issued an orange alert in these districts of the state. Apart from this, light rain and wind speed of 50-60 Kmph has been predicted in the districts of Bikaner, Kota, Udaipur, Shekhawati region, Jaipur and Bharatpur divisions.

 

Where will it rain in the country
Heavy  Rains may occur at isolated places over Kerala, Lakshadweep, Uttarakhand, Manipur, Mizoram and Andaman-Nicobar Islands . Light rain with lightning and gusty winds are likely at isolated places over Karnataka, Andaman-Nicobar, Kerala and Mahe. Thunderstorm and lightning at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Telangana, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal is estimated.

Heatwave conditions will prevail 
Meteorological Department said that heatwave conditions will prevail in different areas of Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar.
