Kerala Man Obscene Act In KSRTC Bus: A man allegedly did obscene act in front of a woman in a State Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus near Payyanur in Kannur district of Kerala. A similar incident was also observed about fifteen days ago.
According to local media, when the woman boarded the bus at Cherupuzha near Payyanur on Sunday, a man was already sitting in the bus. He was reading the newspaper. There was no one else around. Soon after the woman boarded the bus, the man allegedly started performing obscene acts in front of her.
The man kept doing obscene acts even after the video was made
The woman made a video of the entire incident with her mobile phone. Even after the video was made, the person went on doing obscene acts. Later the video was also uploaded on social media. The person who indulged in obscene act got down from the bus after some time.
What did the police say?
A senior officer said that the police have seen the video and it is believed that the incident took place on 28 May. He said that the police is trying to contact the family of the woman so that a complaint can be lodged. “So far we have not received any complaint regarding the incident and the identity of the person has not been ascertained,” the officer said.
Exactly the same incident happened in the past
Two weeks back, a similar incident had happened in Ernakulam district as well. A young man had allegedly committed an obscene act in front of a girl in a State Transport Corporation bus. The girl had publicly reprimanded the boy for his obscene act and made a video of it and posted it on social media.
