Ashwamedha Mahayagya will be performed from 23 to 28 January 2024 in the Central Park of Kharghar. During this, Sudhir Mungantiwar said regarding the issue of OBC leadership, "Our state president is from OBC community. The Prime Minister of the country is OBC. Nationalist Congress Party President Sharad Pawar is Maratha, now will Sharad Pawar teach us."

Sudhir Mungantiwar said on the poster of Nana Patole as Chief Minister. "Lal Haseen Sapne of Mungeri. No one becomes Chief Minister by putting up hoardings. If Nana Patole has the desire to become the Chief Minister, then first he will have to leave the Maha Vikas Aghadi. Shiv Sena and BJP are one. BJP and Sonia’s army (Shiv Sena with Uddhav Thackeray) can never unite now."
