Karnataka Cabinet Expansion: Supporters of Congress MLA Rudrappa Lamani in Karnataka protested outside the state Congress office on Saturday (May 27). His supporters are demanding a ministerial berth for him in the cabinet. In fact, after the big victory in the Karnataka elections, the cabinet was expanded on Saturday. MLA Rudrappa Lamani’s name did not figure in the 24 MLAs who were administered the oath of office and secrecy as ministers at the Raj Bhavan in Bengaluru.

Demonstrating outside the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) office, one of Lamani’s supporters said, "The name of our Banjara community leader Rudrappa Lamani was in the list till last night (May 26), but today we saw that his name is not there. If our leader does not get ministerial post then we will oppose it because we have given 75 percent of our vote. So there should be at least one leader from our community."

Rudrappa Manappa Lamani from Haveri constituency Election is won. Three days ago, supporters of Congress MLA D Sudhakar also demonstrated outside the residence of Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah demanding a ministerial post for him. Although later he was given the post of minister.
