Lok Sabha Elections: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has already started the political battle in view of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. On the other hand, 26 opposition parties along with the Congress have announced to enter the electoral fray under the Indian National Development Inclusive Alliance ie INDIA alliance.

BJP won 105 seats in 2019 with a margin of over three lakh votes
According to a report in The Print, the ruling party BJP won the 2019 Lok Sabha elections with a margin of over three lakh votes. Had won 105 seats. This victory of BJP was 63 more than the seats won by the same margin of votes in 2014 general elections.
BJP’s 164 out of 236 MPs who won by a margin of two lakh votes

At the same time, out of 131 MPs who won by a margin of three lakh votes, 105 belonged to BJP. Of the remaining 26 MPs, 10 were from the DMK and five from the Congress. BJP candidates won 44 seats with a margin of over 4 lakh votes. Not only this, there were 15 MPs of the party who were about to win by more than 5 lakh votes.
In a democracy, no one has control over victory or defeat, but looking at these figures, it can be easily said that it is not going to be easy for the opposition alliance ‘India’ to compete with the BJP on these seats. The opposition will get a tough challenge from the BJP on all these seats. Based on the figures, it would not be wrong to say that it seems impossible for the opposition to defeat the BJP in these 105 Lok Sabha seats.
