Chandrayaan-3 Launch Today: The countdown for India’s third lunar mission Chandrayaan-3 has begun. ‘Chandrayaan-3’ The mission will be launched today (Friday) at 2.35 pm from the center at Sriharikota. Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) chief S Somnath launched ‘Chandrayaan-3’ On Thursday, 13 July, a day before the launch of the mission, offered prayers at the Sri Chengalamma Parameshwari Temple in Sullurpeta. Somnath, dressed in a black T-shirt, offered prayers at the temple located in Tirupati district, 22 km west of Sriharikota. 

‘Chandrayaan-3’ The mission will be carried out from the Sriharikota space center in Andhra Pradesh. ‘I need blessings of Chengalamma Devi…I have come here to pray and seek her blessings for the success of this mission,’ said Somnath after offering prayers. 

 Chandrayaan-3 will land on Moon on August 23!
Somnath, Secretary, Department of Space and Chairman, Space Commission said, ‘Chandrayaan-3’ Will be launched on Friday, July 14 at 2:35 pm. We are hoping that everything will be fine and it will land on the moon on August 23. According to Somnath, ISRO’s next launch program will be of a commercial satellite through PSLV (Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle) at the end of July.  He also said that India’s first space based mission to study the Sun ‘Aditya-L1’ Can launch in August. However, the satellite is currently undergoing testing and if the results are good, the launch will take place on or around August 10. 

‘Chandrayaan 1 mission was a superhit’
‘Chandrayaan-1’ ISRO chief on the mission said that it is a ‘‘superhit mission’’ Which gave good results and was in existence for a long time. This also included the discovery of water on the Moon. ‘Chandrayaan-2’ Has ‘soft landing’ Collected many scientific information and confirmed the presence of water. He said that ‘Chandrayaan-3’ Will also be successful  . Meanwhile, Srinivasa Reddy, executive officer of the Chengalamma temple, told PTI that it has become a tradition for ISRO officials to visit the temple before a rocket launch. “Before the  countdown of every rocket launch, they offer prayers at the Chengalamma temple and then begin their launch programme,” Reddy said.

Apart from this, a team of ISRO scientists visited the Lord Venkateswara Temple at nearby Tirumala on the morning of 13 July before the launch of the Lunar Exploration Mission. The ISRO team consisted of three women and two men.  The pictures of his reaching the temple on the morning of 13th July went viral.  An official of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) confirmed his arrival at the temple.  A TTD official  said, “Yes, an ISRO team visited Tirumala but our publicity wing did not cover their visit.” Don’t promote.
