IAF Surya Kiran Trainer Aircraft Crash: A Surya Kiran trainer aircraft of the Indian Air Force crashed on Thursday near Makali village in Chamarajanagar, Karnataka. Both the pilots including a female pilot are safe. An IAF official said a court of inquiry has been ordered to ascertain the cause of the accident.
He told that this plane has crashed in an open field. Both the pilots aboard the plane had safely jumped from the plane before the accident. This trainer aircraft took off from the Air Force base in Bangalore and it crashed in the morning. District officials said that Tejpal and Bhumika suffered minor injuries. No one died in this. The pilots were on a routine exercise when the accident happened.
