Abdulkarim Al-Issa India Visit: The Secretary General of the Muslim World League (MWL) Dr. Mohammed bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa is on a visit to India. He attended the program of Vivekananda International Foundation in Delhi on Wednesday (July 12). During this, he said that I am very impressed by the political unity of all of you. When there is a lack of communication between us, misunderstandings arise. That’s why it is necessary that we create an atmosphere of dialogue in the whole world.
He said that the conversation should not be only verbal deposits. The advantage of any dialogue is only when it is true. Al-Issa said that a lot can be learned from the wisdom of India. If anyone in the whole world can be learned from, then it is India. In many matters in the world, there are conflicts with each other and there are different opinions, yet we all live together. Our faith is the same, our roots are the same, our foundation is also the same.

What else did al-Issa say?
Al-Issa said that we need to work on two fronts – education and protecting youth from propaganda. These things have to be explained to the children in the beginning itself. There is a dispute between different religions, it has to be stopped in children from childhood. Ironically, books promoting hate have become more widespread than books promoting positive, pluralistic messages.
What about terrorism?
The Secretary General said that extremism and then terrorism spread due to wrong ideologies. To prevent conflicts, we need to protect and guide the next generation from childhood. To capture power, many politicians have used hate stories. Religious leaders are silent today and are not working to promote mutual understanding.
