Hearing On Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh: In Rouse Avenue Court on Saturday ( The hearing took place on 1 July. Hearing was held in the court of Special MP-MLA Court Judge Harjit Singh Jaspal.

A case has been registered against Brij Bhushan Singh under these sections

On June 15, the Delhi Police had imposed sections 354, 354A, 354D of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) in a 1000-page charge sheet filed against Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. And this is a non bailable section. Section 354A of the IPC carries a maximum sentence of one year and is a bailable section. Section 354D of IPC has a provision of maximum punishment of 5 years whereas this section is a bailable section.

The petition seeking monitoring of the investigation has been withdrawn

During the last hearing, the counsel for 6 adult women wrestlers had withdrawn the petition demanding monitoring of the investigation in this matter. He said that after the filing of the charge sheet, there is no justification for this petition.

What did the police and the court say?

Delhi Police said that some people have been sent notices abroad in this matter. Whose answer is yet to come. Now the FSL report is yet to come in this matter, some reports are still pending. Delhi Police said that supplementary charge sheet in this case can be filed in future. The court asked the Delhi Police to file the FSL report related to the case soon. Delhi Police said that their best efforts are being made to get the report soon.

The court has also asked for CDR report from Delhi Police. The court will now hear the matter on July 7. The Rouse Avenue court said the charge sheet is of 1,500 pages, so it is taking time to read.
