Delhi Metro: Delhi Metro announced on Friday (June 30) that now two sealed bottles of liquor per person will be allowed in the metro. Like the Airport Express line of Delhi Metro, now liquor will be allowed on other routes as well. A committee of CISF and DMRC officials has taken a decision regarding this. As per the earlier decision, liquor was allowed to be carried only on the Airport Express Line.
However, despite this order, drinking alcohol inside the metro premises will come under the category of crime. After this order, Metro has requested the passengers to maintain proper behavior during the journey. If anyone is found under the influence of alcohol, action will be taken against him as per law.
