‘Get your brain treated’, Fadnavis advises Uddhav on stigmatizing statement -aabtak24

Maharashtra Politics: Maharashtra’s Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis on Tuesday (July 11) retorted on Uddhav Thackeray’s statement and advised to undergo brain treatment. He said that it seems that the Shiv Sena (UBT) chief needs to take mental treatment due to the current political situation.

Earlier, Thackeray had called Fadnavis a stigma of Nagpur, regarding this comment. Responding to the question, Fadnavis said, "It pains me to see the opposition and former friend (Thackeray) facing the effects of the current political developments. I think he needs to consult a psychiatrist." he adds, "It is unfair to react to the person who accuses because of their present psychological state, their present mental state is such that we should try to understand it. It is better not to react to what he is saying."

What did Uddhav Thackeray say
On July 10, Uddhav Thackeray while addressing Shiv Sena (UBT) workers in Fadnavis’ home town Nagpur said, "The BJP leader (Fadnavis) is a blot on Nagpur because he said he would not forge an alliance with the NCP, but he did." The BJP has strongly objected to his statement. However, Uddhav stood by his statement and asked whether BJP leaders do not accuse others of corruption and do not sarcastically stigmatize them. He claimed that prominent Shiv Sena (UBT) leaders like Sanjay Raut and Anil Parab were being harassed by the BJP.

BJP objected to Uddhav’s statement
Thackeray said about NCP leader and newly appointed Minister of State Hasan Mushrif, "How will that family face the society when you accuse everyone of corruption, stain them and then sit next to them in the cabinet?" The NCP has split into two factions after nine MLAs, including Ajit Pawar, joined the Shiv Sena-BJP coalition government in Maharashtra on July 2.
