Honey Trap Case: There have been major revelations in the charge sheet regarding DRDO scientist Pradeep Kurulkar arrested for sharing intelligence information with neighboring country Pakistan. The ATS submitted its charge sheet to a special court on June 30, stating that Pradeep Kurulkar shared information related to India’s missile, drone and robotics programs with a Pakistani female intelligence operative.
What is included in the charge sheet
According to the chargesheet, the Pakistani agent created fake accounts with different names to connect with Kurulkar on social media. Two of these names were Zara Dasgupta and Juhi Arora. In fact, Pakistan Angelt, who joined Pradeep by creating an ID in the name of Zara Dasgupta, had said that she is a software engineer in Britain. Not only this, Zara befriended Pradeep and asked for information about BrahMos Launcher, Agni Missile Launcher and Military Bidding System, Drones, UCV and other things. After which Pradeep collected all this information and sent it to the Pakistani agent.
What is the whole matter
Let us inform that senior DRDO scientist Pradeep Kurulkar was arrested by the Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) on May 3 on charges of alleged espionage and links with Pakistan’s intelligence operatives in a suspected honey trap case. Kurulkar has been a part of many large projects, he has been involved as a launcher in ground systems and launches of almost all missiles in India’s arsenal.
