Crack in Oxygen plant before inauguration – aabtak24

Gandacherra, June 18: An oxygen plant which is awaiting inauguration may collapse anytime as cracks appeared on casting under the plant following poor quality of construction.
The plant was set up at Gandacherra sub-divisional hospital only three months ago based on the initiatives of the Health department to install such facilities in all sub-divisional and district hospitals.
The plant was a long-standing demand of the people in Gandacherra. The BJP government installed the plant fulfilling the demand but the dream of the people shattered due to poor quality of the construction.
Sub-Divisional Medical Officer, Gandacherra- Dr. Pandab Das raised his voice against the issue and drew the attention of the concerned authorities.
