Court extended Lawrence Bishnoi’s remand for 3 days, administration said – send him to Punjab jail, not Delhi -aabtak24

Lawrence Bishnoi News: Delhi’s Saket Court has extended the police remand of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi for 3 days. The police had demanded a 4-day remand in the court, but the remand was extended only for 3 days. Bishnoi was produced before the court on Sunday (June 11) through video conferencing from the Saket court lockup. 

Both Lawrence Bishnoi and Sampat Nehra are in the custody of the Crime Branch. In the remand papers in the Crime Branch, it has been revealed that Lawrence Bishnoi and Sampat Nehra are running the crime syndicate while sitting in jail. Sitting in jail, both are inducting youth into their gangs and extorting extortion from them. 

Delhi Crime Branch busted it

Earlier on June 1, the Delhi court had given 10-day police custody of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi to the Crime Branch of Delhi Police in an extortion case. Last month on May 12, the Crime Branch of Delhi Police had busted three extortion modules of the Goldie Brar-Lawrence Bishnoi gang and nabbed a total of 8 people. 

Allegations of using youth 

Police say that the Lawrence Bishnoi  gang was using teenagers for extortion. According to news agency ANI, six weapons were also recovered. Special Commissioner of Police Ravindra Singh Yadav said that this international crime syndicate was active in Delhi-NCR, Punjab, Chandigarh, Haryana and Rajasthan.
