Omar Abdullah On Delhi Ordinance: Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Vice President Omar Abdullah has once again taken a jibe at the Congress’s support to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on the issue of the Delhi Ordinance. He tweeted on Sunday (July 16), “Exactly what the Congress President had told and committed to the AAP leadership, when we met in Patna.” He wrote, “Congress about the ordinance.” Wasn’t clear about her stand.”
The Congress on Sunday (July 16) cleared its stand on the issue of the Centre’s ordinance on control of administrative services in Delhi. Will oppose any such move by the Center to interfere in states ruled by parties.

KC Venugopal said, “We had decided yesterday. We are not going to support any attempt to destroy the federal system of the country and interfere in the affairs of the states through governors. We will not support the Delhi ordinance.
Omar Abdullah has raised questions before
On the issue, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has sought support from many opposition leaders against the ordinance. On June 10, Omar Abdullah questioned AAP’s efforts and asked where was the Aam Aadmi Party when Article 370 was being abrogated in Jammu and Kashmir.
He had said, “I repeatedly remind these people (AAP) that when they need us, they definitely knock on our doors. Now Arvind Kejriwal is in trouble, so today he needs our support, but where were these people when we were cheated so big in 2019 (at the time of abrogation of Article 370), who stood by us. /p>
Has Congress given support on AAP’s condition?
Let us inform that the Congress has spoken of opposing the Delhi Ordinance a day before the meeting of opposition parties to be held in Bengaluru on Monday (July 17). The Aam Aadmi Party has described this stand of the Congress as ‘positive’.
Earlier, AAP had put a condition that it would attend the meeting of opposition parties only when the Congress would support it in Parliament against the Delhi Ordinance. On which Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge had said that support (to AAP) against the Delhi Ordinance cannot be a pre-determined condition for the alliance of opposition parties against the BJP. He had said that the Congress would take a decision on the matter before the Parliament session.
What is the matter of the Delhi Ordinance?
Note that the BJP-led central government in May brought an ordinance on the transfer and posting of bureaucrats in Delhi, overturning the Supreme Court’s decision that gave control over the services to the elected government of Delhi.
