Delhi Ordinance Bill: The first meeting of the National Capital Civil Service Authority (NCCSA) was called on Tuesday (June 20) at the residence of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in Delhi. The meeting was regarding disciplinary action against an officer. 

Actually, the National Capital Civil Service Authority was formed against the ordinance issued by the Central Government in May, 2023. The chairman of this authority is the Chief Minister of Delhi. While the Chief Secretary of Delhi and the Principal Home Secretary are its members. This authority has the right to decide on the transfer and disciplinary proceedings of Group A officers posted in Delhi. 

Meeting regarding action against the officer – CM
On Tuesday, the Chief Secretary and Principal Home Secretary of the Delhi Government reached the Chief Minister’s residence at 12 noon for the first meeting of the National Capital Civil Service Authority. This meeting lasted for about half an hour. After the meeting was over, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal told in a press conference that the meeting was about an officer who had a case of a mess in a forensic lab. A meeting has been held to take action on it.  

Told the central government a dictator
CM Arvind Kejriwal said after the meeting of the National Capital Civil Service Authority, "The center has cleverly tried to control Delhi through ordinance and in the elected cabinet, an officer has been made to sit on top of every minister, although it has been made an authority to say, but has given control to the royal officer everywhere. The central government wants to run Delhi through officers and controls the officers themselves. 

Ordinance will be discussed in the opposition party meeting 
According to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, the first agenda in the meeting of opposition parties to be held in a few days will be ordinance. He said that the stand of the Congress is not yet clear, on which all the parties will ask them that the Congress should tell its stand.
