KT Rama Rao Birthday: While the rising prices of tomatoes have spoiled the common man’s kitchen budget, the leaders of the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) in Telangana have urged party’s working president K.T. Tomatoes were distributed free of cost to women on Monday (July 24) on Rama Rao’s 47th birthday.

In Warangal, BRS leader Rajnala Srihari said that around 250 to 300 women were distributed one basket, each containing 1.5 kg tomatoes, at Chowrasta center in the city, according to news agency PTI.

Dreams of seeing Rama Rao as CM
Sri Hari said that he wants to see Rama Rao as the Chief Minister of Telangana one day. He told that Chief Minister K. Rama Rao, son of Chandrasekhar Rao and a minister in the Telangana cabinet, has been successful in bringing industrial investment to the state.

Chicken and liquor have also been distributed
Sri Hari had distributed chicken and liquor to 200 party workers last year, for which he was in news. Retweeting the video of BRS leaders that went viral at that time, Andhra Pradesh BJP state general secretary Vishnu Vardhan Reddy said, “So now TRS leaders are distributing liquor and chicken to make KCR Garu the PM. Is this your idea?

BRS was earlier known as TRS (Telangana Rashtra Samithi). The Election Commission had approved the change of name of the party last year. On this occasion, CM Chandrasekhar Rao formally hoisted the pink colored flag of the party and gave the slogan ‘Ab Ki Baar Kisan Sarkar’. This slogan is similar to BJP’s ‘Ab Ki Baar, Modi Sarkar’.
