Wrestlers On Farmers Protest: Wrestlers have expressed their displeasure while protesting against the arrest of farmers protesting in Haryana. Female wrestler Sakshi Malik tweeted on Wednesday (June 7), "The farmers only asked for the MSP of their crops, but the brutal system gave them lathis and arrests. We condemn the arrest of farmer leader Gurnam Singh Chadhuni, he should be released soon. The news of the farmer who was martyred in the movement has brought tears to my eyes."
In Haryana, farmers demanding the purchase of sunflower seeds at MSP had blocked the national highway in Kurukshetra on Tuesday. After which nine leaders, including the president of Bharatiya Kisan Union (Chadhuni), Gurnam Singh Chadhuni, were arrested on Wednesday (June 7).

Brijbhushan should have been arrested, but the one who was demanding MSP for his crop was arrested.
The oppressor is roaming free, but the turbans of our farmers being trampled under the boots of the police.
Vinesh Phogat tweeted
Opposing the arrest of farmers, wrestler Vinesh Phogat tweeted, "The news of the arrest of farmer leader Gurmam Chadhuni has disappointed a lot. Brij Bhushan should have been arrested, but he was arrested who was demanding MSP for his crop. The oppressor is roaming free, but the turbans of our farmers are being trampled under the boots of the police."
It is noteworthy that the wrestlers are protesting demanding the arrest of the outgoing president of the Indian Wrestling Federation and BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. Women wrestlers have accused Brij Bhushan Singh of sexual harassment.
