Aurangzeb Image Issue: After Kolhapur and Ahmednagar in Maharashtra, there has now been a ruckus in Latur over the posting of Aurangzeb’s picture on social media. In Killari village of Latur district, a person had made a status on social media with Aurangzeb’s picture. After which the police arrested an accused in this case.
According to the information, the Hindu organizations of Latur termed the posting of Aurangzeb’s picture on the social media by the person as hurtful to the sentiments. In protest against this, Hindu organizations took out a morcha on Thursday (June 15) and got the shops closed. The police prevented the riots from escalating by talking to Hindu organizations.
Aurangzeb’s children were born suddenly- Fadnavis
There was a lot of ruckus in Kolhapur and Ahmednagar over the sharing of pictures of Aurangzeb and Tipu Sultan on social media. Referring to these incidents, Maharashtra’s Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis said, “Aurangzeb’s children have suddenly been born in Maharashtra. Due to this, a maliciousness is being created in the society. Due to which tension is also being created. On this statement of Devendra Fadnavis, AIMIM chief and MP Asaduddin Owaisi said, “Maharashtra Home Minister Fadnavis said that he is Aurangzeb’s son. Well… you know full well. You know who is whose child. I didn’t know you are such an expert. Then who is this son of Godse, he said. Tell who is this son of Apte.’
Arrests made after ruckus in Kolhapur and Ahmednagar
Many people have been arrested in Kolhapur and Ahmednagar for sharing pictures of Aurangzeb and Tipu Sultan on social media. So far more than 40 people have been arrested in these cases. Police say that communal harmony is affected by such things on social media. To avoid this, these arrests have been made.
