Mumbai Love Jihad Story: BJP leader and former MP from Mumbai, Kirit Somaiya, while releasing a video, has said that in Mumbai too, a case similar to the film ‘The Kerala Story’ Love Jihad has come to the fore. Kirit Somaiya told that a 19-year-old boy named Saif Shahrukh Salmani abducted a minor girl of 13 years and 8 months from Kishan Wadela, a resident of Bhandup, to Azamgarh district of Uttar Pradesh. Salmani’s family tortured Wood.
The leader told that the boy’s family forced the girl to get married. According to the information received from the Bhandup police, the girl’s father complained about this at the police station. After which in action Bhandup police arrested Saif Shahrukh Salmani from Azamgarh and handed over the minor girl to her family. The girls say that in this whole incident, Saif and Shah Rukh Salmani’s entire family is also involved. Because of which the girl’s family members are demanding action against Saif as well as her family members.
What is the whole matter?
Kishan Wadella lodged a missing complaint of his daughter at Bhandup police station in Mumbai on 8 May. In the complaint, Kishan Wadela told the police that on May 8, Hansa Rajwada, the maternal grandmother of Suhana (the victim’s name has been changed) called him and told him that Suhana had left home at around 10 pm to bring wafers, even after about an hour she did not return. Didn’t reach back home.
Action taken by the police
While taking action in the case, the police took the minor girl from Azamgarh to Mumbai on May 12. Police has also arrested Saif Shahrukh Salmani. There is an allegation against Saif Shahrukh Salmani that he had trapped the girl by hiding her identity and lured her away. Saif used to work in a salon in the girl’s locality.
Former MP Kirit Somaiya held a press conference regarding this incident. The father of the victim girl was also present along with Saumya. During this, he told the whole incident to the media. On this occasion, the BJP leader said that due to the absence of Love Jihad law in the state, such incidents have increased.
